Nowroozi who is a freshman in hospitality at the University of Science and Culture told IRNA that he managed to win a gold medal for smart and safe cable car and a gold medal for the best invention.

He added, “Wic brought together 30 countries including Poland, Malaysia, France, the US, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany and Iran. It opened on 30 November 2017, and the best inventions were awarded during Special Award Ceremony today in Convention Center of Chung Mu Art Hall in Seoul.” According to Nowroozi, “More than 620 inventions were exhibited during the event.”

“Wic was held under the patronage of International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA)”, he stated.

He called the strong presence of Korean knowledge-based companies a new chapter in the history of Wic.

Referring to his invention, he stated, “In recent years, different incidents such as cable car fire and fall inspired me to solve this problem by inventing an adjustable cable car vehicle.”

He added, “My invention has a moving and variable center of mass which became possible thanks to the fluidity of water.”

“The new cable car vehicle contains an airbag that provides the occupants a soft cushioning during a crash to prevent any injuries between the flailing occupants and the interior of the vehicle. The vehicle is coated with polyurea which is highly fire resistant and elastic”, he explained.

According to the young Iranian inventor, an attendance system is placed in the seats in order to enhance safety and save energy. First-aid kits, transparent solar cells, monitoring systems and voice call systems are among the innovations placed in the vehicle.

Nowroozi expressed hope that the smart and safe cable car would be mass produced under the patronage of the Iranian officials and the USC to enhance the safety of the occupants.
